I just thought I’d share a very quick and easy peasy home-made gift idea that I made this evening for my Granny who has a bit of a sweet tooth! I bought an inexpensive bag of vanilla fudge that I know she loves but instead of just wrapping up the bag of sweets, I decided to make it more personal and give it a Christmassy feel.

So I gathered a few things together – all things I had lying around. An old jam jar, some red check jam pot covers, gardener’s twine and buttons for decoration.

I simply washed out the jar, filled it with sweets, tied on the pot cover and added a gift tag which I strung with green and red buttons! It took all of five minutes to make and cost me the price of a bag of sweets!
