Shabby Chic Christmas Inspiration….

I’ve always been a fan of decorating with red, white and metallics at Christmas with a mixture of vintage, Scandi and rustic decorations thrown in BUT I’ve always dreamed of having a really girly Shabby Chic Christmas and if there were no boys in my house I would most definitely go for this style! So for those of you who also love this ultra girly, pretty decorating style – here’s some shabby chic Christmas inspiration pics I’ve saved in my library that you can drool over…

A beautiful tree adorned with pale pink ornaments and silk roses, pearl garlands and lots of sparkle…you can barely make out the tree!

I think these are amazing! These pretty, sparkly, pastel-coloured mini trees remind me of those mouth-watering macaroon towers and desserts from the film Marie Antoinette.

Love everything about this picture… the chippy turquoise-painted door in the background, the antique weighing scales and those amazing vintage Christmas baubles!

Winter Wonderland Christmas ornaments…

I never thought I’d like tinsel in Christmas decorating but I have to say I think this looks beautiful. Make a glitzy bed of tinsel on a tiered cakestand or bowl and place a mixture of baubles and ornaments in different sizes and shapes on top for this sparkly centrepiece!
