As I’ve mentioned before I absolutely love reclaimed wood. Whether it be nailed to the wall as cladding, used as flooring, turned into a table…anything! If you’re following my pins on http://www.pinterest.com you will see that I have an entire board devoted to reclaimed wood images. Here is one of my favourites.

So you can imagine my reaction when I came across this image…

When I clicked onto the image I discovered that it was actually a reclaimed wood wallpaper from Piet Hein Eek called ‘Scrapwood Paper’ that is glued to an Ikea BESTA bench which costs €90. I couldn’t believe it.. how clever is that?! So cooool!

You would need to coat the paper with some polyurethane to seal and protect it but what an incredible transformation!
