Jewellery displays with vintage glass and china

I love the idea of having jewellery on display instead of shoved away in a jewellery box or drawer somewhere. After all it’s pretty, colourful and sparkles so why not create an attractive display out of your jewellery and also make life a little easier by having all your bits and bobs out where you can see it?

I picked up a few of these cut glass bowls at a flea market for about €1 each. This is one I keep by my bedside where I just pop whatever I’ve been wearing that day into so I don’t lose them. It creates a nice colourful vignette alongside my vintage-inspired photo frames and china jug with fresh flowers as well as being very practical. I use glass cake stands, bowls, ceramic cake stands and china cups and saucers for the rest of my jewellery and then I hang my necklaces and chains from decorative hooks. It’s great to be able to see everything to hand but it also looks so pretty! Here’s some inspiration..

I love the idea of storing jewellery in vintage cups and saucers but I wouldn’t dream of hiding them away in a drawer!

A cute and practical little display out of vintage cups and saucers.

You could mix in your pretty perfume bottles and hair accessories to add more texture…

Necklaces and chains hang from decorative hooks above this dressing table which makes a very pretty form of wall art. You’ll find nice decorative hooks anywhere from Homebase to Avoca.

You’ll pick up vintage china at car boot sales and flea markets and you’ll find glass cake stands and vintage style trinket bowls in Woodies.

I would love to hear what you think of these ideas! :)
